Civ War!!
Hiya, I finally got around to beating Age of Empires III. A very good game and I truly enjoyed it. I am kinda partial to games of strategy like this, having cut my teeth on such classics liek the Command and Conquer Series, Dune, and Starcraft and Warcraft.
I try to fill the spot of a conquered videogame with a new one of the same genre. So to fill the void I purchased the Civilization IV Gold Edition. I like it. Not quite like AOE III, but it is good. I liek the Warlord feature and I can really notice improvements in the game since the last incarnation I played. (Civ II) I like the AI features, thought the other Civs that you play against can go to war in the blink of a eye it appears. meh. I conquer them.
I am kinda partial to games with a different economy system, like AOE III and Starcraft where you assign workers. The Style in Civ is a little more free in usage. you develop the land and in the city screen you can assign workers to work in certain areas. You can never be able to say that Civ does not deliver information in spades. There are screens that I have not even used yet….. sheesh.
Oh Well. On to forging a Bear Empire…
