Warhammer Online
Freaking cannot wait. No seriously, I am going out of my lil bear mind waiting to try this new MMO. I was brought into the world of WoW by Monkey and really liked for reasons too numerous to really list in its entirety. Suffice to say I was a huge fan of the RTS and liked the deep lore and tapestry of the world, and hey Paladins, what more is there. (Even if they are finally getting the love they deserve in this expansion, better late than never.)
But I have been a fan of Warhammer for far longer, and though I play WoW I really haven’t thought of myself as seriously fan hooked. I mean eff I only have one 70. I watched the latest trailer for WAR and wow. I cannot be more excited without getting arrested for illegal acts of a naughty nature with my computer.
I really want a crack at a ton of the classes, but in specific Black Ork (Waaaugh!), Dark Elf (Naughty), Chaos Chosen (Deadly), and Warrior Priest (Freakin Deadly Light!). I really like the thought of a healer in plate that is actually swinging hammers and cracking heads while healing. The paladin class in WoW is nice and all but man it can be seriously mind numbing just clicking a spam heal from the back ranks. Oh and Inquisitor (Heretic!!) is also tugging at my play urges.
I heard that there is a Warhammer 40K MMO coming out too, but I found out that Joe Madureira is the Head Art dude for them… that means that after a few drawings it will get stalled by missed deadlines and then dropped into limbo. Take a look at his track record……
