Black Reach!
Hey all you forest dwellers! I got my cute little paws on the new Assault on Black Reach set for Warhammer 40K. I have to tell you I was very eager to get into this set, the sheer number of models promised was enough to pique my interest.
First impression right off the bat as I opened the little box of model goodness is freaking A, what a set of tightly packed plastic frames. I mean it, there is a definite effort to pack alot of models into every square inch of frame plastic possible. And a pretty good selection of models too, not just a HQ and a bunch of troops (though those are here in force too) but a Space Marine Dreadnaught and Terrminator Squad!
For the Orky Side the standard Boss and boyz, but also Deffkoptors, and Nobz too! A set if the red rulers, dice and templates, but it is to note that the new templates are made out of the new neon green type plastic, like the new counters and the Armegeddon markers.
the new plastics look nice, and even though they are snap fit models, I am excited to get into assembling these bad boys!! So I’ll keep you posted on my progress and thoughts as the force production get along.
Time to break out the clippers!
