WoW, Clothing and Add-Ons

In WoW I am a warlock - summoner of demons and stealer of souls. I’m also a tailor and a fashion junkie. I have been known to turn down an upgrade on armor because it was a hideous combination of colors. I have also been known to save gear that is now useless, because it looks totally badass and I love to run around town wearing it. More importantly, I have alts that have gear sets for Protection versus Tanking, and it’s annoying to switch them about manually.

So when Cosmos died, I lost my favorite add-on for saving gear sets and around-town outfits. I tried Outfitter, which is either too complicated or too simple for me. Every time I try to save an outfit it also gets saved as the “Normal” outfit, and any mod that takes more than 5 minutes of puttering is not worthwhile. The former-programmer part of me just gets irked at the lack of intuitiveness.

So, tonight, after the queue finally lets me in, I’ll be trying out 2 different mods in the same vein - Wardrobe and ClosetGnome. My report on how they work will be posted later this week. But if any of you WoW kids have suggestions for other add-ons I should try please link them in the comments!
